These 2 components are linked by WO Numbers and share a common Status field.
The WO Worksheet is the shared Edit Screen for both components.
The Rolling Production Schedule, is an index of all requested & current in production WOs by Sales and Accounting.
The Rolling Production Schedule reflects all the Production WO's that have been requested and all that are in production.
Dates and Status's can be quickly and easily changed on the linked WO Worksheet and reflected on the scheduling screen.
The Supervisors have access to this screen also to track upcoming Work Orders.
------------------------
The Production Run (PR) System manages the current production on the PRESSs.
This control panel is shared with current Shift Supervisors, who may have to make adjustments through-out the Shift.
up to 4 WO's can be assigned to a particular PRESS at a time.
A PR configuration can be scheduled to a future start date.
BUT Normally PR configurations on a particular PRESSs reflect a series of similar Work Orders and PARTs that use the small Mold Base type.
PRs Roll Over to the Next PR. This allow overlapping WO's to be moved from current (closing) Production Run to the immediate next Production Run.
Testing PR Configuration - AND also allowing time for each new PR configuration to setup and tested correctly.
The Key Production Parameters (KPP) system is tightly connected to the PR control panel and the required Testing sequence before each PR can go into actual production
The PR ties together via Production WO Status Quality Control and Quantity produced.
The PR control panel screens are the definition of what is currently appearing in the Daily Production Report Index.
