A QUICK OVERVIEW
Die Mold Tool (DMT) is developing a Production Resource Planning (PRP) to help manage their Molding Press business.
This PRP is similar in concept to what is communally called an ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning)
The PRP is a multi-user application written in Microsoft and configured so that multiple users can Enter Data and managers can Review Data as needed at any given time.
The DMT-PRP is essentially a Quality Control System for production of molded parts produced from multiple machine Presses.
Currently the PRP covers 4 primary areas, other areas of planning maybe added:
Pre-Production Planning
Production Management
Plant Production; Quality Control and Daily tracking of quantities produced
Post Production Tracking
